Pix from the Past from Mary Grace and Merrill

Once upon a time a long time ago....were little kids who had no idea of what their future would hold.

They grew in their friendships and one day graduated from a wonderful school where the teachers encouraged, nurtured, and supported them.

After the Reunion

The Reunion went on and on and on as some of us continued to visit with each other. Art and I had our camper at Morton Lake (Roosevelt) so that I could get some much needed rest after a year of school. We enjoyed visits from Mary and Ronnie, Rita and John, and Beth Russell!!! I even had a former student to find me at the lake!!! Today a group of us met at Cheddars to eat and talk. I think we got there at about 11:00 and we left at 3:15!!! Wow!! We have a lot of catching up to do. Margaret was so sweet to bring a beautiful necklace as a doorprize!! Armand, our waiter drew Mary's name out of the "pot". Armand knew just the right things to say to make these "old" women want to give him a HUGE tip!!! The class CRUISE was discussed, as well as fundraising ideas. These are pictures from a few days after the reunion. Every trip to Forest involves a trip to the cemetery and as I arrived at the gravesite of my mother and daddy, I noticed two birds that looked like dove on the ground on our site. This brought a sense of Peace as I thought about how much fun mother and daddy had feeding the little critters in their back yard. Leaving the lake and entering the world of reality of cleaning, mowing, and fulfilling numerous obligations was hard, but God provided a beautiful surprise on my arrival home....the lovely double rainbow pictured below!!!

Please submit your pictures to me by putting them on facebook or sending them through email.

A Peaceful rest in a beautiful setting!!!
